I don’t know if it’s the right flair but I am up at 2 AM here in India reminiscing about the time I spent in London as a student and resident. Moved back in September last year and it’s only lately I’ve realised that the city hasn’t left me. Idk what it was, maybe the weather, the people, the vibe but London makes you miss it man. It creeps up on you, no matter what you’re doing in life. I had some dangerous experiences there sure, got jumped and near about knifed once but the positives far outweigh the cons.

Sitting in a Tower Bridge or City of London pub in the evenings and old finance and consulting people buying me a beer after knowing I’m a student or just people sometimes going out of their way to help me navigate immigrant life or even the greatest sandwiches anywhere in the city – shoutout DiLietos on Fleet Street!

I love London and I miss it and man I can’t wait to be back for my graduation in January. Sharing some of my favourite photos from my time there, hope y’all like them!

Oh and a small suggestion if any of you seeing this are into Basque cheesecakes – go try out Bread by Bike in Camden on Brecknock Road, they’re out of this world and get made fresh everyday!

  1. This is sweet, thanks for sharing. Makes me wish I still worked in Camden to go try out the cheesecakes, but I’m in west london now.

  2. I only lived in London for 9 years but it is still home and I do miss it.
