    I’m starting to envy people like Arno a great deal. They have carved out the path of their own life, for better or worse. It feels like I’m completely wasting my time here compared to him.

    Arno was an institution. RIP you absolute gorgeous sonofabitch!

  26. My parents named me after him as I’m from Oostende so I always kinda looked up to him. I’ll dedicate my night of drinking beers to him! May he rest in peace putain!

  28. I’ve spent days and days watching him rehearse at the venue I work at, and i’ve seen him perform at least 20 times besides that. He’s the person i’ve seen perform the most times. And it was always spot on, he’s so rock and roll and at the same time such a machine.

    There’s a great documentary about him on VRT.nu called charlatan. It’s a must see about the Belgian music scene, and about the history of Ostend and the Belgian music scene.
