“Well, I think Vance would be a great nominee — if he decides he wants to do that,” Rubio said. “I think he’s doing a great job as Vice President. He’s a close friend and I hope he intends to do it.”

Vance, a former U.S. Senator from Ohio and bestselling author, has served as Vice President since January 2025. While he has not publicly commented on his 2028 intentions, Rubio’s endorsement signals growing support within Republican circles for a possible future campaign.
