Hardly news, greed and self interest has always been tory policy.
There should be a law requiring all MPs must be the full resident not only of the UK but the area where their constituency is. A lot of these tits both con and lib live well away from the people they represent. It’s already near impossible to see them face to face. I get it if they are in the front bench it might be hard to get a minute. But even seeing the farthest back bencher is like getting an audience with Her Majesty. As a younger man I was proud of our system that you could always see your MP. It was really a good way to connect the local to national.
Why is that shite not illegal … it should be, it takes no history buff to understand that one “cannot serve two masters”, moreover, if he’s a secret communist/Russian sympathizer, none of you are safe from him and his compatriots in Parliament
For them at least. Tax avoidance is for the rich, if we did the same then we would be charged and tried before we knew what was happening. They see it as the right of the rich to hoard their wealth where the government cannot get it, whereas the poor are expected to give up every penny possible instead.
