There is a clip where he is asked to read something during a deposition, and he tries to weasel out of it, saying he didn’t bring his reading glasses. They offer to make the print bigger for him. So he can read it out loud on the record. And his lawyer makes an objection to get him out of it.
None of this is surprising. He doesn’t even know how to hold a book upright, remember the Bible? We’re living in Idiocracy.
Oh come on. He’s an idiot but he reads from a teleprompter all the time. I doubt he’s ever read a novel though, but he did like to cherry pick Hitler’s book.

Dude knows maybe 5 words total in his vocabulary: tremendous, strongly, incredible, looking, and very.
He reads off a teleprompter that contains only the most basic words, which is why all his speeches sound like they’re written by an 8 year old.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the teleprompter shows the words only spelled phonetically. It also wouldn’t surprise me if he’s completely dyslexic but has refused to admit it or address it his entire life.

I’m laughing imagining Trump reading Bonfire of the Vanities, a book written specifically to mock people like him.
I think it’s more likely that he is a terrible reader who only reads Hitler and nice things about himself that John Baron wrote. He also most likely very much needs glasses but thinks glasses are for little girls or some or stupid tiny dick insecurity logic.
I heard him in Court once trying to read a lease document and he couldn’t explain some of the terms even though it’s the core of his businesses.
