  1. What a lovely haul, hope you enjoy! I did but I’m vegetarian and most of it isn’t. It’s better if you live in big cities.

  2. Shh don’t tell anyone, the boxes will run out. Like genuinely you should remove this post

  3. It’s pot luck really. One time I did it and got crappy stale sandwiches from starbucks. Another time guy from work got a dozen Greggs sausage rolls. Another guy got a whole rotisserie chicken and wedges. Some you win, some you lose. Guess it pays to know which ones to go for and which aren’t worth the effort.

  4. Yeah although I’ve cut back because I end up eating as much as they give, I tend to stick to bakeries/sandwich places as the hot food is hit/miss

A local Portuguese cafe in west London gives a bag full of cakes/pastries that I have to give away or I have a stomach ache the next day lol

That looks like a good bag!

  5. Decent. I’d smash that if I hadn’t eaten all day haha

  6. First time used it, the shop cancelled 30 mins prior collection as I’d already drove a town over.

Second time was decent, the good stuff is never available to bother checking often.

  7. It’s epic.

I live next door to a Ruby’s of London. I get 3 cakes for £4.

Also live right near a Pret. Usually 3 sandwiches and salad for £4.50

    So good.

  8. Damn, where was that from? I paid £4.50 for a slice of cake smaller than the one top left yesterday.

  9. Yummm that’s a heart attack in a box. But you’d die fat and happy

  10. Yeah whenever I’m in the office I’ll always check if a local cafe is doing one, it’s always good stuff.

  11. I used it at Millie’s cookies, the reality that I got 24 cookies hit real quick when I realised I simply don’t eat that many and had 12 or so go uneaten

  12. Tried it three times. First time I turned up and the place was closed, no one there. Second time I got mouldy food. Third time no one was there again (different place). I like the idea but it’s just not worth the hassle.

  13. Yes but you have to look at the value of the box compared to full price and most are from expensive places so aren’t good value

  14. I used to get them from Starbucks when I had a branch near me. The best one I ever got was ridiculously good value – £4 and I got 4 x regular sandwiches, 2 x baguette sandwiches, a cookie and some sort of pastry thing.

The only one near me now is the Yo Sushi counter in Tesco. Used to be £5, then went up to £6.75. I’ve had varying levels of success, but always get at least £15 worth of stuff.

  15. Once got 6 pesto paninis, i hate pesto.

Also got a box of 50 doughnut bites, was great except didnt know what was what.

You take some you lose some

  16. Haven’t done for a while but it I know the co-op near me does it for groceries. The Costa down the road is meh.

  17. Sometimes good, sometimes bad…

Worst I’ve had was from the Bagel Factory, Canary Wharf tube, 1 filled and 3 plain bagels, all rock hard for £5, realistically, it should have all gone straight in the bin, not TGTG.

  18. My favourite are Toby carvery and Kristy Kreme. Carvery you get enough for two people. We usually just make our own Yorkshire puddings. And for the donuts, you get six donuts for £4.99. Depending on the location, they often let you choose your own too.

  19. I’ve tried, but there’s not much around me that does it, unfortunately.

  20. >**Does anybody else** use Too Good To Go? £5.99 for this box

Yeah I know quite a few people who do. Probably thousands of others too.

  21. Too good to go, isn’t always good. I once went to a pizza place and I thought I would get multiple boxes of pizza, I got a medium pizza for £6.99, I might as well have gone to Tesco and got a finest pizza for cheaper

  22. Yesterday got 2 days worth of holiday lunches for 3 plus 2 cakes out of Greggs for £3. Only disappointment in coming up 2 years has been a Co-op Grocery Bag… random and weird, and appeared to be the items that no-one had wanted from the “reduced to clear ” cabinet. 2 overripe pineapples, 2 packs of unappealing cheap branded pork sausage etc etc. Other than that we’re great fans, but we try not to tell too many people!

  23. My friend gets the breakfast bag from pound bakery and he got loads of things, he got a bag from the local co-op and it contained 6 tubs of coleslaw and a very sorry looking sausage roll

  24. It’s alright until you get fed up of getting vegan everything from some places, I remember getting a few cake based variants, a muffin outlet that also did something like scones and a slightly more hipster bakery with giant donuts and cookie that were pretty good all in all it’s good for putting weight on since the urgency to finish it when no one else wants it is horrible therefore I don’t bother with any type of fast food especially not fish and chips with it costing the same as a flipping Chinese these days.

  25. No, but I’ve used Olio app to get similar items for free. It’s especially good around bank holidays.

It’s also pretty great for me as there are a couple of places on my way home from work that close around the same time I’m leaving. So I’ll often get a free dinner on the way home.

  26. Genuinely had one for my tea tonight- carvery box from chain pub.
Have also had pasty’s and groceries too.

  27. Wenzels is always wonderful on Too Good to Go. I find a lot of other places are a bit of a let down though. But it is luck of the draw

  28. I’ve used it at a few places but mostly for the Greggs near me. Often pay £3 something for £20+ worth of grub

  29. I can’t wait for Too Good To Go boxes to reach my area! We’ve just got Domino’s, so it should only be another decade or two now.

  30. Wife does it all the time – insane value if you’re not too fussy.

  31. My first ole and steen one was worth over £35 but haven’t had a good one since

Krispy kreme where you get 6 is my go to. I just put some in the freezer

  32. I’d like to, but it’s horrible if you have any food allergies.

  33. Depends where you go to

I work near a Toby carvery so I often get their breakfasts on too good to go. Only been disappointed once.

  34. Love it. Just don’t waste time with the harvester rotisserie meals, so far I’ve had all 8 of my orders cancelled 5 mins before the collection window

  35. I use it at my local Cooplands and just take the bag to work to share with my workmates.

  36. Naa, olio is where it’s at. Boots collection of sandwiches, save me perk. Tonnes of free sandwiches that last days.
