This is a bit misleading. He said ‘I would be washing my hair’ last Sunday on the BBC morning shows when discussing the fact that the First Minister would be meeting Trump. It was a good joke.
Flynn was not expected nor asked to meet Trump, and did not turn down doing so in a jokey way.
