    The incident happened at 2.30pm last ­Tuesday in Thomastown Park, Sallynoggin, Dublin.A male passerby, who was out running at the time, apprehended a man at the scene and gardaí were called.

    Gardaí say a man in his 50s was arrested and later released without charge.The woman’s screams were heard by locals, including a retired garda, who also ran to help.An ambulance took the woman and baby to hospital.

    The 24-year-old mother of one, who is understood to walk the same route with her baby every day, was left shaken by the alleged assault.

  9. I have a young baby, and the thought of this man still walking around is terrifying. The poor woman and her baby, I hope both make a full recovery and the man responsible gets what’s coming to him

  16. Sorry what the fuck like… can’t walk your baby in a park in peace, can’t go out at 10am on a Saturday morning without being kicked in the stomach. This country is a fucking horrific place to be a woman in these days
