Israel committing genocide in Gaza, say Israel-based human rights groups

1. I’m sure this’ll be one of those things that everybody was on the right side of all along in hindsight. Like Apartheid South Africa. We must not forget that our so-called world leaders approved of both for a long, looooong time.

   I don’t understand this comment, why have a legal definition of genocide that needs to be met in order for it to be a genocide — if we don’t actually need to meet those conditions for it be genocide?

4. I wouldn’t be shocked if Israel responds to this by banning/severely restricting these two organisations. They’ll use the excuse that they’re “dangerous” to the state.

5. The problem isn’t realizing there is a genocide.

   The problem is why are Israelis allowed to treat gentiles this way?

   It happens all around the world. The only thing that is chosen about them by God is their path to eternal damnation.

6. B’Tselem is great. I’ve been donating to them for years. They’ve never shied away from calling out Israel’s apartheid policies – using the “a” word – in the West Bank, either. Their [report](https://www.btselem.org/sites/default/files/publications/202408_welcome_to_hell_eng.pdf) from last August on the treatment of Palestinians in Israeli detention facilities is an impressive piece of investigative work, but a very difficult read.

7. I’m just sickened to my stomach at this point.

   There’s so many leaders and organization “suddenly” realizing that there’s a genocide going on.

   It looks like they know the genocide is in the bag, and now is the time to act as though they aren’t involved, because it’s too late anyways (we’ve been in stage 5 famine since april).

8. As a spectator who has no influence on all this, I am very curious to find out what really happened in a year or two from now, when the Propaganda starts to fade away.

   I have to say I believe absolutely nothing coming out of Gaza whatsoever. I think it’s all bullshit and propaganda. They started screaming “this is a genocide” only 2 days after Oct 7th as if they planned the whole thing as an overlaying story and now almost two years later, the Palestinians are still alive.

   It’s “the boy who cried wolf”.

   I know a lot of people will be furious reading this but idgaf. Everyone is lying all the time, you don’t know the truth either.

9. Someone should tell B’Tselem that genocide isn’t determined by what they think or by their standards.

   Nevermind, they discredit it in their own article:
