1. As someone from coastal country this gives us hope as we face direct impact due to sea level rise. Although this opinion won’t create overnight impact.

2. cam the ICJ be held responsible for being a joke? much like the UN, they make a mockery of the core of their founding principles and values, thus becoming their own worst enemies. Don’t get me wrong, decent decision but with 0 paths to enforce it realistically.

3. Its non binding. Moral wins only. We are getting sick of those.

4. This sets the stage for more and amplified consequences for driving human harm of all, for personal pollution inaction.

   CBAMS tariffs pressures are already starting…even Republicans understand taxes for being jerks. These can be ramped up more. Treaty protections and preferences can be called into question, dropped, or broken. Astonishing what a few are willing to risk, for personal short term gains. The average person likely has no idea what is being squandered and lost here. 😑

5. Does anyone know…are the new tariff agreements under MAGA impacting the CBAM legislation levelled by other nations? Did the discussions overlap? Republicans understood this was an external tax on internal pollution inaction.
