This is the problem with putting public services out to tender period. Not even just this specific one. I actually was one of the success stories for these services during the last recession. I went back to school, got a business administration cert, got a small business setup under the back to work enterprise allowance and eventually was in fulltime good employment making excellent money. A company that doesn’t give a shit about Irish people or people in the specific localities won’t be any better than the current system they have (flawed as it is in some cases).
So they allowed English private companies to waste over 250million on jobpath that helped nobody. Now they want to waste hundreds of millions more on an American company that’s known for being cunts. That money could have been put into our education and health system.

Whenever I hear US company and lobbying, it is never going to bode well for the people relying on whatever service they want to profit from.
No one will go to jail for this because Fine Gael are pro bribery criminals that wouldn’t even see this as a problem but an efficient method of attacking our society.

I worked for a private company that did business with the US Government. There are no winners.
What do you expect from this government? Public tax payers money is for private needs. Why are you surprised? Why are you shocked? How else are our ministers supposed to get executive positions after they’re done bleeding us dry? You’re all voting for this.
The company is called “Maximus”. To me that doesn’t scream, tailored social services, with an end goal of retraining and employment.
