Whats the thing here in Norway with those glasses?

  1. Tacky people with bad taste, in my opinion. They are made for sports. It’s like women and tights. They are almost everywhere.

  2. +10 speed, -15 charisma
Worth it if you go for a physical bulid

  3. They are called fast glasses «raske briller» and it is a thing. https://tv.nrk.no/se?v=MSPO48150319

  4. Fast as fuck boi! And a surefire way to annoy people who think they have a sense of fashion but still wear skintight jeans. So a win-win.

  5. They make us ski faster, downhill or cross country, or running. Or even driving.

  6. I think it’s part of using more athletic clothes that has been the trend in recent years. These are “athletic” glasses. They still look like shit though.

  7. I’m Norwegian, and I wish I knew the answer to that question. I’ve been seeing them a lot more in recent years, and I have absolutely no clue why anyone would wear those voluntarily 😅

  8. That’s how you tell norwegians apart from swedes and danes!

  9. In Germany Gen Z have it too and it’s called “schnelle Brille” (fast glasses).
    I have no idea.

  10. “Epic Solar Shielding Eyewear of Swiftness”! It’s one of those items where you choose stats over looks. They give you a massive speed buff, but also make you look like the ultimate tool. Pair it with the “Swix Chest Armor of Tinder-ness”, and you’re ready for some afterski. You don’t even have to go skiing first. No one does that anyway.

  11. I’m a life long scout, having to camp out on a regular basis I get very annoyed having sunlight to my eyes coming in from the sides with normal sunglass.

Thus why I use these. 👆 It a life saver for me.

  12. The best thing about these glasses is that they look cool while pissing off uptight people without culture!

But really, we call them “raske briller” and they are very good for skiing. Many just started using these for everyday use instead of buying a different pair for it.

It sort of became a fashion trends and then a national icon.

  13. Ludicrous taste in sun glasses.

We think we look soo cool.

  14. They look like something people would wear in the 80’s or around 2000. It used to be for running or something sporty, but now people just use them all the time like crocs or thigts

  15. I use them because I am super sensitive to light and get very tired and get head aches after some time in the strong sunlight, or even just normal daylight.

It covers basically all the light. I also have other sunglasses and love sunglasses in general. But for work or hiking or on bright sunny days nothing beats this.

Still I also have a huge head so maybe that makes them fit better.

If you want everything to look stylish then of course this is not it, but for functionality I don’t see anything wrong with them. And no, you don’t need to do sports to enjoy them. Just like owning a suv doesn’t mean you have to go off road. Haha.

  16. Makes you faster overall. You’ll see alot of project managers in construction wear these to work! It’s insta – charisma, but I guess the + speed is worth it?

  17. They’re so I know what kinda people not to associate with. Helps tremendously

  18. Wow, they just appeared so fast when I scrolled

  19. Great glasses for fast pace activities outdoors, they block the sun’s reflections from all angles and stays put.

It’s plain embarrassing using them with any other attire than sports clothing though. Sometimes you spot Norwegians wearing them with suits or traditional festivity clothing. Absolutely cringey. Giving mad douchebag vibes. Anytime you see a tourist wearing them over regular clothing abroad, it’s guaranteed they’re a Norwegian. Safe bet an arrogant one
