Who the fuck counts for us help in a hypothetical European Russian war?
Yes the US could mobilize and bring trips to Europe. But in modern war there won’t be enough time for that. Only the US air force would be able to help.
The same for Europeans and China.
But the NATO is a deterrent. But the strongest weapon would be the economy. Russia can’t afford to hold Europe. Or would destroy his most important trading partner and would fight against American sanctions, while it would need to fight a guerrilla war.
The same with China. It can’t afford a war with the US. Europe would hit it with sanctions. India just waits for it to invade the east and it will get support from the US for this. Maybe even Europe.
But the most deadly weapons are the diplomats ance the economic bonds. The military is to weak to swing either side.
NATO has got their hands full with Moscow, whether European and American leadership realize this yet or not.
It’s long past time they put the Russians back on their heels, stop Nord Stream 2, and end the (failed) strategy of appeasing & just playing defense with the bad-faith Putin regime.

Hear, hear! Finally a sensible opinion.
Especially the last paragraph.
