  1. Mr Trump do you have a solution for these 40% of americans …some voted for you, saying is good, doing is better

  2. Purchasing power for 57% of U.S. workers increased **last year**, according to Indeed, leaving 43% lagging behind the rise in cost of living.

  3. Ignore the “official” rate of inflation and look at the reduction in purchasing power of the average American individual, not the distorted “household income” and the loss of purchasing power is horrific.

The COL skips certain volatile items like gasoline. Housing costs aren’t current real estate or rental costs but a watered down number that includes a calculated rental value based on homes not for sale. Another flaw in COL is items that few high cost items average household buy that moderate the published number

The “growth” of household income is distorted by the increasing number of multi-generation families which has increased the number of working adults in these households.

Wage Stagnation is standard practice for many employers: starting wages never change, mass layoffs – rehire cheaper cycles, rounding down raises from COL, skipping raise cycle because of corporate financial situation, and others. The net result is each subsequent generation is poorer than the previous.
