  3. I remember when I was a kid, my local xtravision at clipperstown in carrickfergus got set on fire.
    I discovered that when I came round to drop off the game I rented (Donkey Kong Country 3) and the manager was waiting outside.
    Told me to keep the game as they are insured.
    GET IN THERE!!
    Should have rented more games 😭 haha

  9. No way. I remember every Friday, after Dunnes (Hill Street ofc) then Chinese after. That very cassette could well have been in our VCR.

  10. My local Xtravision allowed me to take the cardboard cut out of Mel Gibson in the movie Ransom. I was just a kid and I had to walk over a mile home with it. I had to “wear it” because it was too big. So there’s me dandering down Stewartstown Road as a giant Mel Gibson face and my older cousin walking beside completely scundered
