Executive Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer Tim Rausch has announced that he will resign from the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Rausch, who joined the TVA in 2018, was responsible for seven reactors at three nuclear sites: Sequoyah, Watts Bar and Browns Ferry.
The separation comes after a year that saw unexpected outages at all three nuclear plants.
On July 14, 2025, Rausch informed TVA’s CEO of his intention to separate no later than March 1, 2026, and executed a separation and release agreement, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Before joining the TVA, Rausch served in various nuclear management roles in his over 30 years in the industry.
