  7. That’s a good reminder OP. Just spent the weekend with the in-laws who are getting on. We definitely made some good memories for my kids this weekend. They are just old enough to understand a good joke but not too old to be jaded about hanging out with their parents and grandparents. It’s a small window but we hit it this weekend. For some reason I was very aware of it.

    RIP to your Dad, may your memories provide you with some comfort.

  25. Sorry for your loss! My dad passed almost 9 months before my first was born. I still see some of his personality it my son 12 years later. Im sure you’ll see the same. A reminder that they’re always with us.

  26. My heartfelt condolences and yes, it’s so important to live every day and ask all the questions of our parents while they’re with us.
