(KNSI) – St. Cloud State University has been awarded $20,000 from the Xcel Energy Foundation to support students pursuing programs that promote energy efficiency.

The workforce development grant funding will be directed toward scholarships for SCSU students enrolled in academic programs focused on energy and related fields. The investment supports the university’s commitment to educating the next generation so they can power the future.

The foundation regularly supports workforce development programs across its service territories, recognizing the need for trained professionals in the evolving industry.
