Rishi Sunak demands inquiry into Akshata Murty tax leak

  1. How dare the UK public know who they’re voting for and their connections/privileges… for some reason the Chancellor of the Exchequer thinks it’s wrong that we know about his wife’s 2.1 million a year tax avoiding non-dom status.

  2. It’s politics. If one doesn’t like to be on the spotlight then avoid it like the plague.

    This is why Jeremy Corbyn should be PM – nobody in labour or the tories wanted to get rid of the non dom tax loopholes.

  4. An inquiry into how something was leaked that should have already been publicly available information. Regardless of whether it was Boris that did it, surely it’s in the public interest to know and therefore justifiable.

  5. The tax accounts of all MPs (not just ministers) and their spouses should be public record. They should keep being public record for a decade after they leave office too.
