Of course, demand an investigation into the leak, not the information that was leaked. Fking tories.
Can he not just start an enquiry into this himself? Is this not something within the power of the chancellor to do?
How dare the UK public know who they’re voting for and their connections/privileges… for some reason the Chancellor of the Exchequer thinks it’s wrong that we know about his wife’s 2.1 million a year tax avoiding non-dom status.
Wow how petulant
Like how dare people catch us out
It’s politics. If one doesn’t like to be on the spotlight then avoid it like the plague.
He got caught.
This is why Jeremy Corbyn should be PM – nobody in labour or the tories wanted to get rid of the non dom tax loopholes.
Either his PR guy is having a fucking nightmare or Rishi is ignoring him.
He can fucking afford to commission and pay for an inquiry himself
An inquiry into how something was leaked that should have already been publicly available information. Regardless of whether it was Boris that did it, surely it’s in the public interest to know and therefore justifiable.
He’ll gain nothing from such an inquiry, rather just let it die down.
Waste our tax pennies on a fruitless exercise good one Sunak.
Inquiry into this but not the fraud he allowed to go on to the tune of billions? The ultimate Tory move.
As Napoleon probably said once: the best defense is to attack! Lol
Oh no, you want an inquiry in to how you being a pair of shitbirds was leaked
All politicians (and their spouses) tax affairs should be public record
The tax accounts of all MPs (not just ministers) and their spouses should be public record. They should keep being public record for a decade after they leave office too.
