dios Mio , I’m in Granada heading toward Sevilla , don’t know where I’ll be staying tomorrow but i was going to head to Cáceres which is nearby (so many fires starting in this area) before going onto Salamanca (via Toledo & Madrid)
I don’t have to see this but more importantly how do locals do with this?

The Junta de Castilla y León made it worse than it could have been: While other autonomic regions include removing brushwood and fallen branches and maintaining firewalls during colder months.
CyL doesn’t, so the fire is meeting lots of dry wood on the ground that help it extend faster
