Right at the top of my feed, as always. I guess this is my daily lesson in who I am supposed to hate. With 0 comments and 0 upvotes, still on number 1 in my feed… what are the chances. Such a strange algorithm /s
Notice how every article is an accusation starting with the word “Russia…”. Imagine having every NYT article start with “New York this…”, “New York that…” 🙂 I guess good editors were expensive and this is aimed at dumb people who don’t notice such things.
Edit: I guess this comment needs to get some negative votes before a redditard dares to reply, as always 🙂

Why is the inflation so high?
Also such a random post to put on Russian boards for brigading, it’s just a story about economics.
Just to note, some euro area members have numbers just as bad:
* Lithuania 8.2%
* Estonia 7.4%
The difference is, of course, that these are driven by energy prices in our case, while that’s a much smaller issue in Russia.
Still, these are record high numbers since 2008, but the ECB is not doing anything to cool down the inflation. What is more, the EU’s reaction to skyrocketing energy prices has also been incredibly passive.
This post makes the rubble trolls seethe, so upvote it is 👌
It’s bad, worse than most of Europe, but it isn’t as dramatically out of whack as some seem to think, Spain are at 5.5%, America 5.4%, Germany 4.5%, even the Euro Area average is 4.1% according to trading economics. Major developed economies that are far more stable in modern history than Russia have had steep inflation rises, Russia having that and then some isn’t wholly unsurprising.
This is where all the printed money during COVID starts to surface.
