In Taiwan’s largest ever recall vote, more than two dozen lawmakers from the main opposition KMT party could be removed from parliament. President Linga and his ruling Democratic Progressive Party have accused them of being too close to China and a threat to the island security. The vote has galvanized both sides of the political spectrum. Outside of the presidential office, protesters in support of the recall said they felt the opposition was blocking key legislation and pushing China’s agenda. They do fishy things such as visiting China as soon as they’re elected, and they propose strange laws when they come back. These strange laws were never listed in their campaign promises, but they still rush to pass them, and they block our government’s operations. A few blocks over in central Taipei, supporters of KMT accused the president’s party of undermining democracy and trying to tip the balance of power in his favor. The president, since taking office, hasn’t done anything for our nation’s people. Instead, he’s done things that make people hate him. There’s nothing noteworthy to say about him. He no longer seems like a president. He’s an evil force. The KMT in alliance with the minor party holds 52 seats in parliament while the president’s DPP holds just 51. Analysts say the recall could help him carry out his agenda more smoothly.   6. The same trick as the party of the PM in Thailand did. This party tries to remove all senators from the parliament, because most senators are aligned with the party that threatens itself.
