Hello. Could someone advise me what to do about a large construction company that's making it impossible for a resident to live? Or they're blocking the entire estate with about 20 concrete mixers, making it impossible to sleep at night. Please see the report on the website. Please help. 1. you can call police that they are making noise (but without guarantee of any results) but nothing except that. if it’s not temporary then search for new home

  2. The point is, the police aren’t doing anything… the city authorities aren’t even above the construction site. There are six blocks of 50 apartments each. Sometimes we wait an hour to get home.

  3. You need to bother the police like the construction company is bothering you. If you can’t sleep they can’t sleep either.

  4. I’d call the cops and if they refuse to do anything, try reporting it to local news, it can be effective if they publish a story and someone starts worrying about their polls.

  5. Large concrete pours need to be done without breaks, and there is really no way around it.

But they should finish this stage of construction soon.

  6. In here they can’t make a ruckus after 22 o’clock, just call the police

  7. Go to construction site and help them, faster they finish their job faster they go

  8. Find the name of the building company, that manages the construction and bother them as well as keep calling Police daily (and at bright).

Is it a private investor/company? Then report to the city council and Inspekcja Pracy. Keep recording every single misdemeanor. Workers with no helmets, no vests etc. ANYTHING that can delay/stop/hurt the company.

If it’s a city ordered construction – collect all neighbours and protest in front of the council.

Contact your local radio and TV station.

  9. If police don’t do anything (as usual), go with neighbours and just physically block concrete deliveries. If you disrupt construction they will have to find some solution.

  11. Before I read the description I thought it’s some scary ghost shit because of night and mutated man like moving shadows on the ground lol

Życzę wytrwałości i konsekwencji w działaniach.

  13. In this country developers with a lot of money often have connections to (local) politicians and the only thing that could make them change their ways is either public outrage during elections or an opposing force to be reckoned with (see how mob dealt with construction companies in America back in the days).

You can of course sue them but by the time you hear any verdict they will be long finished with the construction.

  14. Call a lawyer and collect signs, go to the police with the lawyer’s letter and signs, and ask to do a formal report together with your lawyer, I can guarantee for it will works.

  15. Gather neighbors and do what needs to be done. That’s what I would do.
