Islamabad: Pakistan has categorically rejected India’s unfounded and provocative assertions regarding the so-called Operation Sindoor.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Foreign Office Spokesperson dismissed the statements made by Indian leaders in the Lok Sabha, terming the accusations as baseless and inflammatory.
“These remarks are a distortion of facts and an attempt to justify India’s aggression,” the spokesperson said, adding that India launched an attack on Pakistan without conducting any investigation into the Pahalgam incident. The attack, carried out during the night of May 6–7, resulted in the martyrdom of innocent civilians.
The spokesperson emphasized that India failed to achieve its strategic objectives, while Pakistan responded effectively by targeting Indian aircraft and military assets.
He urged Indian leaders to acknowledge the losses they suffered rather than misleading their public and to accept the role of third-party mediation. Pakistan had offered a transparent and independent investigation, which India outrightly rejected.
“Instead of cooperating, India chose the path of aggression, acting as judge, jury, and executioner,” the spokesperson stated, recalling Pakistan’s decisive response in May 2025.
Commenting on India’s claims regarding ‘Operation Mahadev,’ the spokesperson said such statements hold no credibility. He dismissed Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s remarks as fabricated and fictitious.
He also questioned the suspicious timing of the killing of alleged perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack, coinciding precisely with the opening of the Lok Sabha debate
