Medications are one of the few things whose manufacturing could be easily moved to the US with minimal impact. Most of the cost of them is R&D and artificially inflated costs, rather than manufacturing.
I’m getting pretty tired of getting generic medications manufactured in India that are way less effective than the name brand.
