  1. Immigrant workers launch a wave of strikes …

    lol ….

    Go the fuck home

We don’t need you in Europe, at all

  2. Exploitation of migrant workers breeds exploitation of the domestic workers. If a group of the workers doesn’t get basic rights like 40 hours week, then it erodes the rights of others.

  3. The traditional r/Europe comment section. No wonder the reputation.

  4. Wait are they being overworked or they want more hours?

  5. These comments are insane…
How illiterate and racist people are these days, holy moly…

  6. Italians don’t work, and those who do come to work Italy continues to abuse. Those who can, Italians or foreigners, leave as soon as possible. And then you have a land of dying people, deteriorating economy, and braindead racists who vote anti-immigrant party but the party has to open gates for immigrants anyway because everyone who is capable, Italian or foreigner, leaves any way.

If Italians spend even half the effort they spend on trying to defend pasta and pizza online and forcing people to eat shitty recipes that no one is allowed to modify to taste, we might have a more humane Italy where neither Italian nor foreigners would leave.

and I hope for the world in which nobody is desperate enough that Italian abusive and inhumane work conditions are their way out.

TLDR: Italy needs to change, or it will continue to die. Dead economy of dying people.

  7. “But oppressed and underpaid migrants force down wages of domestic workers.”

“… And your solution is ban immigrants, rather than organize for them to… not be oppressed?”

  8. I would love to see all immigrants leaving Italy like so many comments here ask for, so that the actual Italian would now have to work in fields all day and clean the streets and toilets.
God I wish I would love to see that day.

Italians think of immigrants what Central Europeans think about Italians lol

  9. Clearly this would eventually happen. In Europe we treat immigrant as second-tier people on behalf of the rich. We must work for the people, their rights are also ours.

  10. This is great. Employers need to stop seeing migrents as cheap labour, then maybe they’ll invest in their own population first.

  11. Absolutely nobody is talking about this in Italy besides very few communist and left wing news outlets and media (including social media).

The big traditional media outlets are accomplices of the exploiters in their silence. This needs much more relevance to get the support of good-intentioned Italians, of which there still are plenty despite our politicians.

  12. I don’t get it I tought they were there do the jobs that Europeans wouldn’t do?
