My only escape from an old shitty job was drawing in my notebook. Then I started bringing in a sketchbook. By the time I got fired, I had an entire watercolour and charcoal set on my desk 👍🏼

Just finished watching Breaking Bad – nicely done!
These are great. I worked at a call centre in Preston during uni a couple of decades ago. I did this sort of thing all the time. I don’t have many evidenced, but still have a photo of a paper plane I made… then decided to draw the interior and exterior. Safe to say my boss suspected I wasn’t as focused as I could have been.
A talented friend and I created a comic one semester while sitting in the back of a class we were bored of. It was called Monty and the Magic Turtles, based on a story of a religious experience the instructor claimed he’d had.
I thought about what the stupidest concept for a horror would be. Then I wrote a story about a lady who is haunted by the ghost of a Victorian boy whose head is a giant chicken egg (it was Easter at the time and my colleague wanted ideas for her child’s Easter bonnet)
So talented. These are amazing.

Great to see some actual proper drawing in this era of AI-generated slop. Very cool and diverse styles you’ve got there, you should do some comics.
