Rural Ireland could be considered a time warp in certain places yes. You can still get a pint in certain parts of Donegal for less than a fiver too.
This has to be AI
Yes I noticed this driving around the country for work. Some small village shops are great value at the deli compared to Dublin where I live. I remember getting a brown bread sandwich with bacon and white pudding for €2.50. I thought they made a mistake.

Nothing needs to be said.
I can get cans of coke for 1 euro , in a local shop, any cans , crisps, bars 1 euro.
Hang on , what date is it , am I a day out?
I paid €6.79 in Naas earlier, cop on to yourself you’ve never had it so good.

Saw someone in Northern Ireland Sub post over £7 for a breakfast roll(i think it was breakfast roll)
What’s inside it?
I normally get a wrap, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and chicken for around €4.50-€5 in the local Super Valu in Dublin, can’t really complain all things considered.
The other day I just got cheese and tomatoes with chicken and it was like €3.75.
Centra seem to have a set price of €6 for the exact same thing round here, doesn’t matter if it’s a roll or a wrap, if you’re getting a 1 meat + 3 fillings, as they call it, it’s €6.
That’s cheap !!
i love how OP didn’t name the actual centra location so he can keep all the chicken fillet rolls to himself
/satire
Name and shame
You definitely entered a time warp, seeing as how you bought it tomorrow….
Was it nice? I used to work in different delis and one time a competitor up the road was doing chicken fillet rolls for 2.50 so we got one to have a look at it and the chicken was rank.

Nature is healing
Lol you must be joking. 4.50 is absolute max outside of tourist traps. And that’s in Dublin.
I’ll take 20 please
oh my God…
it’s just a jump to the left
The boom is back.
Maxols too. Packaged sambos are €3. Had a lovely ploughman’s the other day
Name and praise!
Exactly the price I want it to be… throw it away I don’t trust it.

No, but you seen to have a time machine.
Rural village is a harsh way to describe Offaly
Good value that.
Were the fillings air and good wishes?
