A beaut of a walk. Did it with the aul lad during last year’s heat wave and it was an experience and a half. Pair of us a good 8 shades redder when we reached the car.
The benbulben Forest Walk is another lovely ramble out that way.
Lovely views up there but there are no native trees on that hill only sitka spruce farms, it’s kind of heartbreaking
I am from right beside it, and it is such a great walk and view. Windy as feck up there.
Used to live 5 minutes from there, lovely spot altogether
Did it two weeks ago, bags of dog shite hanging on the trees and tourists having picnics on top of the grave. Aside from that, it’s a lovely walk.
I’ve never taken the time to admire the view from there. I’m either contemplating my life choices as my legs burn while trying to run up it or I’m trying not to fall over too much while running down the rocky path.
