Virginia Giuffre, a prominent accuser of Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew, is being treated in a Perth hospital.

Ms Giuffre, 41, shared a photo on social media of herself with bruises on her face and ECG electrodes, stating it had been the “worst start to the new year”.

She said in the post that she had been involved in a bus crash and had “four days to live” after doctors had told her she was suffering kidney and renal failure.

“‘I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes,” she said in the post.

Recent social media posts say Ms Giuffre has been in Perth, where she was known to be living in 2020.

At a press conference on an unrelated matter on Tuesday morning, Acting Police Commissioner Kylie Whitely was asked about Ms Giuffre’s condition and said there was a “minor” crash between a bus and a car in a rural area north of Perth on the afternoon of March 24.

WA Police confirmed a 71-year-old woman was behind the wheel of the car involved in the bus collision, and a 41-year-old woman was in the passenger seat.

Nobody was taken to hospital from that scene, and no serious injuries were sustained, according to police and the St John WA ambulance service.

It is not clear if the incident is connected to Ms Giuffre.

“We have no report of any serious injuries. But that is all that we have in relation to that matter,” the acting commissioner said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Ms Giuffre’s spokesperson, Dini von Mueffling, told the BBC: “Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital.

“She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending.”

Ms Giuffre’s father, Sky Roberts, commented on the post saying he was praying she got “correct treatment to live a long and healthy life”.

“If there is anything in this world I can do to help you, please let me know. My spirit with you now and holding your hand,” he said.

He told the UK Telegraph he was staying strong for her.

“She’s not doing good. She’s depressed because she misses her kids,” he told the publication.

“She’s got four days unless she gets another opinion from another doctor.”

The Duke of York and Virginia Giuffre reached a settlement in the civil case she brought against him.

Ms Giuffre reached a settlement with Prince Andrew in 2022 after accusing him of sexually assaulting her in 2001 when she was 17.

Ms Giuffre said the prince forced her to have sex with him at the London home of Ghislaine Maxwell, a British socialite and longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein, and at properties owned by Epstein.

Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied the allegations.
