Vaccines work, but I have the feeling they don’t work as good as they should 🙁
Seen as daily confirmed cases jumped to over the peak we had last year (no one vaccinated), I’m wondering if anyone would be able to explain this to me, as I really don’t understand anymore.
This is already from more then 11 days ago, with sciensano on long weekend we are probably not gonna see new data till…well, probably when the numbers look a bit better

But fine, I’ll take your bait and reply that underlying medical conditions and age play a role here as is briefly mentioned in the article….
This is an artikel from the 30th if October about the numbers from sat the 16th of October until and including 22th of October.
They have not released any numbers later then that, but they definitely have them until at least the 31st. Which makes me think the percentage actually went way up, maybe even high enough to make the hospitalised having the same vaccination rate as the populatuon.
They have only released ic numbers for the following period. Next time maybe only deaths!
Ofcourse this is conjecture. But as long as they do not release the numbers we will never know.
