And then PiS will come back and implement it in the first half-year of their government. And once again, every liberal economic expert will shout, ‘This will destroy our economy — we can’t afford it!’
Our current government would be a winner if there was a contest of doing nothing for 2 years
Important context: Not increasing the tax-free allowance (and tax brackets accordingly) in times of positive inflation rates and [growing wages](https://ssgk.stat.gov.pl/Wynagrodzenia_i_swiadczenia_spoleczne.html) equals higher income taxes. Through the backdoor if you will, although I wish this was so commonly known and present in people’s minds, you couldn’t call it that anymore. I like the Polish term for this: inflation trap.
“For five minutes… CAN YOU DO SOMETHING. FOR 5 MINUTES?!”
Cóż szkodzi obiecać?
Yep and remember 23% VAT is only for 2 years
I don’t care about one big change of the tax brackets that wins them some votes and make a huge gap in the budget. I want consistent updates to the brackets every year based on economical metrics.
Because of the war and ongoing shitiness of modern politics, I kinda understand that now it’s time to spend more, not less but…. the war and whole political situation was pretty much the same 2 years ago – they’re still to blame for not delivering promises they made before elections.
Why not a more granular progressive tax scale that updates every year automatically? And tax deducted by employers based on the projected annual income so you’ll earn the same amount throughout the year. Many European countries have had this for decades
Government is lying to it’s people ? This never happened before. Somebody should do something !
That’s good, because statistically poor people waste all their money anyway. We need to abolish capital gains taxes. Additionally its a lot cheaper.
Only a couple of African countries have lower tax-free threshold.
Ziobro surprise.
The lefties will keep drinking that koolaid regardless.
Tusk’s main programme point: “there is no money and won’tbe, deal with it!”
The coalition will disintegrate way before 2027.
Snap elections or slow defeat.
Shieeet, Tusk didn’t deliver again? Look how shocked I am.
