The newly based Airbus A321neo will support the launch of four exciting new routes, offering even more opportunities for travelers. Passengers from Kraków will soon be able to fly directly to Bilbao, Spain; Verona, Italy; Vilnius, Lithuania; and Tallinn, Estonia. These destinations cater to a variety of travel preferences, whether travelers are looking for a relaxing beach holiday, a cultural city break, or a chance to explore charming European capitals. Similarly, Katowice, an industrial hub in southern Poland, is also benefitting from this expansion. Wizz Air is introducing its seventh Airbus A321neo aircraft at the Katowice base, which will facilitate the launch of six new routes. These include destinations such as Porto and Faro in Portugal, Brindisi and Lamezia Terme in Italy, Brașov in Romania, and Maastricht in the Netherlands. Flights to Porto will commence on October 26, 2025, while the remaining routes will begin in March 2026. These modern planes consume 20% less fuel, emit 20% less CO₂, and produce 50% less noise than previous-generation models. The airline boasts one of the youngest fleets in the world, with an average aircraft age of just 4.58 years. Moreover, two-thirds of the fleet is made up of A321neo models, which continue to raise the bar in terms of efficiency and eco-friendliness.
