Looks great. Are you a London native or just travelling?
Lived in West London my whole life, and I’d never taken a boat ride from the West to Central before, so that’s what I did last Tuesday. Took 3 hours but got to see some really cool sights on the journey. Also helped me connect the West to Central by the river in my head. I knew Hampton Court to Fulham pretty well but was cool to see what came after.
I’ve also wanted to do some photography for the longest time. I actually am a YouTuber for my job so have a really solid camera but never thought to take it out with me. These are my first attempts at actually trying to take decent pictures. I know a lot aren’t anything special but I think some are decent. That Budweiser logo thing I actually took on a moving boat from far away so I’m happy I was able to get a good one that centred the logo.
What even gave me the idea was that in this sub over the years I’ve seen some amazing photography. I hope to get better, and might go to ChinaTown at night to get some better shots next time.
I like 16, very good framing.
You’ll do well here since this sub is mostly American tourists who love these generic postcard shots.
These are beautiful. What camera have you got mate?
I like them! Super cool how you blend a few attractions together ❤️
Some of these feel really playful, like the landmark buildings are photobombing as someone is trying to take a photo if you know what I mean?! Fun
Great use of foreground interest! Really brings the composition alive!!
Have you been to Twickenham riverside behind the town hall by eel pie island, gorgeous 18th century fountain there, Marble Hill park is lovely too!!
I studied at St Marys and lived in St Margarets, a truly beautiful place in my heart! One of Londons best kept secrets!! Do you know the bluebell woods and the Diana fountain too in Home Park, the walk from Hampton Court to Kingston is lovely, used to run that way all the time,
Both babks are equally lovely, the surrey bank has the view of the bend towards the sunset in Richmond and the middlesex bank has all the lovely views of Richmond, teddington lock and the parks around Hampton! Vast and full of wildlife!!
st pauls in the middle of those two building – fire pic
Where was photo three taken? I can’t place it.
London is such a beautiful place. I miss it so much. 7Y there.
17 is great
Love seeing Richmond
Love the feeling of these. really fun. Would be very interested to see how you include people in shots like these. You’ve got a style!
