Princess Beatrice is said to be “distancing herself” from her father, Prince Andrew, following a “secret meeting” with King Charles amid the ongoing Royal Lodge dispute.
The King reportedly wants to relocate his younger brother Andrew, 64, from the 30-room Royal Lodge to the smaller Frogmore Cottage, having allegedly stopped Andrew’s allowance and removed security at the property.
This follows Andrew signing a nominal 75-year lease on the property with the Crown Estate in 2003, which requires him to maintain the property. Woman’s Day magazine reports that Andrew’s eldest daughter Beatrice, 36, has sided with the King, as she is “desperate” to be included on the “royal roster”.

Beatrice recently announced her second pregnancy with husband Edoardo Mapelli. An insider told the magazine: “Beatrice knows her future lies in the hands of her uncle, not her dad. Bea has another baby on the way so it’s all about the future and moving forward.”
The source suggests that the princess has seen her inheritance “taking a big hit” after her father stepped down as a working Royal.
Beatrice and her younger sister Eugenie have been seen taking on larger roles in The Firm this year, as both the King and Princess Kate have been dealing with health issues. In May, the sisters joined Prince William for a Buckingham Palace garden party, reports Aberdeen Live.
The source added: “Even though Beatrice has landed comfortably by marrying into an Italian aristocratic family, it’s mortifying to have Andrew decimate the family’s fortune and reputation. She desperately wants to be formally put on the royal roster and if that means distancing herself from her father, then so be it.”

Royal Lodge is a 19th-century Grade-II listed building with over 30 rooms, including seven bedrooms. The residence was once home to King George VI and the Queen Mother when they were still the Duke and Duchess of York, prior to Edward VIII’s abdication in 1936.
The Queen Mother continued to use the Windsor home until her passing. This week, Andrew faced further calls to explain how he funds his lifestyle in the mansion.
Isabelle de Rouvre, a French socialite, claims she lost millions when the Duke of York bought a ski chalet from her with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. Buckingham Palace has been approached for a comment.
