Hey Estonians,
A week ago I enquired about [how to find choir concerts in Tallinn](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eesti/comments/u4s6xw/how_to_find_choir_concerts_in_tallin/) and helped me find a few concerts.

I attended two:

* Eesti Filharmoonia Kammerkoor / Eesti Muusika Päevad 2022 [[link](https://fienta.com/et/eesti-filharmoonia-kammerkoor-eesti-muusika-pa-evad-2022)]
* Tartu ülikooli kammerkoori 50. aastapäeva kontsert „Kaksikpühendus“ Tallinnas [[link](https://www.facebook.com/events/s/tartu-ulikooli-kammerkoori-50-/394615759137319/)]

Both were fantastic, and the 2nd one was particularly impressive, especially considering that the University of Tartu Chamber Choir is a hobbyist choir.

This definitely made me want to return next year for the national song festival. I just hope a tourist that doesn’t know any of the songs and can’t sing along will also have fun!

  1. Good to hear, that you took my recommendation for the Chamber choir on. I was also invited, but had to be on stage for other events.
But I’m glad you liked the concerts.
A lot of Estonian choirs are hobbyists, but still do very high quality work

  2. There are only a handful of actual professional choirs in Estonia. But we have a lot of professional or concert level sounding hobbyist choirs.

I can probably name around 20 of the many recreational choirs that approach the quality of UT Chamber Choir.
