Famous actor Leonardo DiCaprio has faced criticism over his investment in a luxury tourist complex in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The project, which has received approval from the Tel Aviv District Planning and Building Committee, is expected to span over 50,000 square meters and DiCaprio owns 10% of it.
Initially, it was planned to have 180 suites in two six-story buildings, but the plan has expanded to a 14-story, 365-room hotel, with an 8,000-square-meter marina with direct access.

DiCaprio has also promoted the project as one of the most sustainable in Israel.
However, his investment has been viewed with critical scrutiny due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, particularly in the context of the situation in Gaza, where over 18,000 children are reported to have been killed.
