Just weeks before their new season kicks off, the Abu Dhabi Combat Club has announced that their 2026 World Championships will happen in Krakow, Poland on September 12th & 13th. It will all be going down in the TAURON Arena Kraków, the largest and most advanced arena in the nation.
The ADCC World Championships has been one of the world’s toughest tournaments for decades, as it aims to bring all the top submission grapplers together to determine who is the best in the world. With only five men’s weight classes and three women’s weight classes, it is an exclusive and grueling tournament with long matches, unique rules, and a lot on the line.
Half of the field will be set through continental trials and the other half will receive invitations directly from the tournament. The World Championships typically moves around to different regions around the world and has been in China, Brazil, Europe, Abu Dhabi, and Las Vegas (among other locations).
This is the organization’s first World Championships outside of Las Vegas since 2019 and their first return to Europe since 2017 (Finland). The TAURON Arena Kraków has been home to some amazing sporting events and concerts and has capacity for tens of thousands.
