Chicago has worst air quality in the world as Trump reverses environmental policies

1. Air quality in Chicago was ranked the worst in the world on Thursday, according to the website, IQAir. By Friday, Chicago was ranked second, while Minneapolis was third. Only Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo has worse air quality levels.

   In March, the Environmental Protection Agency announced it would undo rules that would have pushed power plants and carmakers toward cleaner forms of energy.

   The Union of Concerned Scientists said: “[The rollbacks] will leave the nation sicker and our air, water and soil dangerously contaminated.”

2. Yes the air quality is bad here, but it is because of the Canadian wildfires, not Trump reversing course on environmental policies (shortsighted as it may be).

7. This is a direct result of Canada balking at becoming the 51st state. The administration is showing them and the world our power, so they all better do what we say. (/s if it’s not obvious)
