"The Bundeswehr is delivering two more Patriot missile defence systems to Ukraine at short notice. In a first step, launchers will be sent in the next few days, according to the Ministry of Defence. In a second step, further system components will be handed over within the next two to three months in order to strengthen Ukraine's air defence with additional batteries. Thanks to the joint efforts of the partners, these will be prepared for deployment in Ukraine and handed over ready for use. It has been agreed with the US Department of Defence that Germany will be the first nation to receive newly produced Patriot systems of the latest generation in return, and thus at an accelerated rate. They will be paid for by Germany."

What are the chances that systems went out of service in the past 2-3 months? The interception rate of Islander K lately seems quite different.
I am all for it. Even if we are giving away our air defence
It’s always good to hear news like this. Good. As a German, I am proud that we are providing Ukraine with such important systems. Just think of the delivery of 5,000 helmets at the beginning of the war.
But… what about ‘eliminating the source’ of these air threats? Where are the ‘deep strike weapons’ (TAURUS) to combat the production facilities of the Russian terrorist weapons? Why are we spending billions on intercepting missiles and drones (the cost of the interceptor missiles alone) and why are the legitimate targets of the production facilities not finally being attacked and eliminated with Western weapons? The answer is (unfortunately) quite simple: RuZZian propaganda is still working here, telling Western governments: If you do that, we will escalate!
The question I ask is: How do the RuZZians intend to escalate further (non-nuclearly)? Bomb more hospitals? Murder more children?
It’s a farce…
It’s all great but what is the point if our allies don’t bother to support enough interceptor missiles to fire at cruise missiles?
Es lebe Deutschland!
Hurry up the world already
Damn, German acting unusually fast. Thanks lads, be proud!
