    Reddit, YouTube, Spotify and even certain news sites have restricted access depending on the content found within. It needs more than half a million signatures, that’s for fucking sure. How many sheep are following the Shepards around blindly out here?

  19. I’m not into “gooning” … I signed and got my family to sign, purely because of the way our data will be handled. This isn’t about porn, it’s about control and we’re all one step closer to being full blown “cattle” for the rich.
    Im willing to throw in with this as those that don’t speak up because “it’s not an issue to me..” when it is an issue to me… who’s left to fight with me… there are more of us than there is of them…
    I feel its about time we all stopped buying into the divide and conquer bullshit that’s going on right now..

  21. For context there are 72,000,000 people who are UK Citizens. Roughly 1/200 people in the UK have signed the petition. That isn’t 1/200 people agree with that it’s that 1/200 have agreed enough to sign the petition.

  23. It’s not an anti gooning law. That’s playing into their frame. It’s an anti privacy, totalitarian, beurocratic dystopian law that shakles small Internet businesses with unnecessary work and ruins the privacy of users in the guise of protecting children.

  25. UK governments only backtrack when pensioners complain about their policies. Until pensioners learn to use the internet outside of Facebook they will not reverse course.

  27. To any and all against it, would you be happy if your local MP just decided to sit outside your house and stare in your window all day to make sure you weren’t up to no good? No? Well, it’s the same thing. It has nothing to do with porn. Its about controlling what people access and tracking what people view, they just went after porn first because they knew it would be an easy win.
