If he’s lying about the job report numbers, it means all of us watching the strength of the economy would make decisions to keep investing in stocks and believe everything is dandy. It might be his tariffs that are causing fear in the economy and he’s hiding it. But when the crash starts or it has already we will all be unaware cause we will be saying but the jobs reports showed strong numbers. Hes an incredibly narcissistic con man that’s meaning with people lives.
That has got to be one of the worst reasons to get terminated

It frankly would not make sense that Trump is throwing hand grenade after hand grenade at world stability and it would, somehow, be positive for economic activity.
There is virtually no one I talk to who isn’t pulling back at least a little on any plans they may have had. And it’s not just trade, there is uncertainty up and down the whole economic ladder. The revisions make clear, at least for now, that this uncertainty hammered hiring.
It doesn’t have the feel of a straight up recession. It has the feel of people pausing wondering what the fuck is going to happen next. There is no clean answer to this because Trump is 100% committed to tariffs as some kind of cure-all. Throw in the all the other bizarre behavior that is ripping apart institutions and it starts to just feed a cycle of “I better wait and see what happens first”.
I guess we can hope for a midterm correction but I’m just not at all convinced democrats have a coherent answer that doesn’t devolve into DEI and BLM and such.

I am not an economist. Simple country farmer, here. But don’t we have billions of dollars from bonds from places like Japan and Europe that rely on correct data for investment? And doesn’t the stock market use data from the Fed to power their decisions to buy or sell? Aren’t global currency rates based on the health of the US economy?
Would this not put investment in jeopardy?
The man is a liar! How do pulls keep on protecting him? Every word he says keeps digging our country more and more into the gutter. And it’s only been 7 months. What about in a year? Wake up!
