    Not surprising as soon as I saw the words “Catholic-run”. Abusing kids is just tuesday for the catholic church. The question is whether they murdered them too?

  10. We were being warned for decades that this was/had happened. No investigation will ever occur. The pope will never address this. We will all falsely believe that “times have changed” when I am going to tell you that that’s bullshit, nothing has changed, we just got better at finding old, shitty cover ups.

    Investigate, expose, force the church to make a statement.

  11. I was gonna ask if this was the one where they called the poor woman crazy and other things for trying to get an investigation going and yep, there’s her name, Catherine Corless. They called her crazy, shunned her, told her it never happened, etc etc, even though she had the evidence from county records that something heinous happened to the 796 children at that place because they were listed as dead but no place of burial.

  12. I can’t help but think that Sinéad O’Connor was shit on for decades for barely scratching the surface of this shitduggery when I see headlines like this.
    Ireland will have it’s own reckoning coming and it will take decades, I saw an interview with the lady that discovered that big grave being excavated and the Church tried to silence her as well when she pushed to make it public knowledge.
