Here are a few of my artworks inspired by Italy. Would love to hear your thoughts and maybe even get suggestions on places I should definitely paint next!
Grazie mille! ✨

  1. Extremely good depiction.

If I have to say which one is worse, I would say the 1st, the other ones are impressive and really could be places in italy

  2. Check the main sights in Carloforte, the fourth picture reminds me a lot of that place.

  3. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th are lovely.

It does look like Italy, but 100 years ago.

  4. very nice! the second looks very similar to the view I have from my house (tuscany)

  5. very nice! the second looks very similar to the view I have from my house (tuscany)

  6. They could be rural areas/small towns in central or southern Italy

  7. Pretty accurate, especially if you didn’t use any references 🙂

  8. This is amazing! The first picture is actually reminding me somewhat of Verona (although from a rather fantastical perspective), the second is something that used to exist but is nowadays very rare (although again, I’d swear I’ve been somewhere sinilar).

  9. they’re all very spot on. The 4th is amazing, that’s how small villages in italy feel, cat and all

  10. Most of these give full page illustration in a book for tweens

  11. The first three are very credible panoramas, the last one is too much “architectural” if you get what I mean.

  12. Very nice. I’d say the last one is the least Italian by the architecture

  13. The 2nd one needs clusters of suburban housing in the distance, power lines, factories, more asphalt roads, the FI-PI-LI highway in the distance and a lot of motorized traffic everywhere; then it will look exactly like Tuscany.

  14. Spot on, great artworks. Your idea of how certain pieces of Italy looks is pretty solid.

  15. These are wonderful. It is what Italy looks like. Florence has become very touristy, but it deserves your eye and talent. Visit when you can!

  16. very nice, realistic sights, i think i’ve seen something identical or extremely close to all 4 of them IRL probably need more signs of industrialized society to look from this century. There are some villages and hills near Florence where nature and civilization are in perfect harmony and visual balance.

That street lamp doesn’t look like something or somewhere you would see in Italy outside of big town centers.

The issue i have with them is that they are very focused sights of touristic places and are out of context of the lives of people who live there. You are painting tourist traps and postcards. But they are pretty good, so if you like it keep doing it.

  17. It’s so good and yes this is pretty much what Italy looks like. Especially Tuscany
