  1. Wifey s out sorting out bridesmaids dresses and other wedding stuff for her friends wedding with said friend, so I have a day to myself. Washing will be going on the line and I’ll be disappearing to spend the day with granny and help her with various jobs around the house, then no doubt a takeaway for tea 

  2. Out at cricket all day tomorrow, today the small one has a birthday party that I hope the wife is going to take him to so I can just sit and paint iron warriors

  3. It’s still Friday night where I am. Going for a swing in the Grand Canyon tomorrow!

  5. Off to Sunny(?) Sleaford for a football match. Do I need any jabs before I go ~~back in time~~ to Lincolnshire?

  7. Nothing too exciting really. A bit of food shopping, washing the bedding and checking out new woks at the Asian cash & carry as my old one has a broken handle.

  8. Just back from week 7 run 2 (another 5 min walk, 25 min run, 5 min walk) and somehow it was my farthest one yet?

    I’ve not slept well for the previous two nights (well, for the past 6 months really, but the past two have been terrible) so I’m quite chuffed with that, really.

    Anyways, after a bit of rest, today being spent doing a big food shop and starting some prep. work before people descend upon the house tomorrow evening 😅

  9. We’re off to a sausage and cider festival today with some friends so that should be nice.

  10. Just got on the train to Birmingham to meet my girlfriend, we’re going to do some shopping and go to the cinema.

    Hopefully also obtain free Lego.

  11. Nae sleep, the weather is shite so might try sorting out my wardrobe as some of my trousers are fitting like MC Hammers

  12. Up in the Highlands for our summer hol. The journey here was *something* so going to take it easy today with the only real plan being a seal spotting cruise. We left London on Thursday afternoon and it took us 7 hours to reach Carlisle due to a crash closing part of the M6. Left Carlisle early on Friday morning for Fort William and four major crashes on the single-lane A roads meant we were sent on a 3 hour detour and didn’t arrive until 8pm 🥲

    Ah well. We’re here now and it’s beautiful. Just having the first of many coffees in the garden surrounded by forest and birdsong. Lovely stuff. 

  13. It’s my 40th! Officially middle aged now. 🤣

    Seeing my family today, then curry and checking out the new rock bar in town this evening.

  14. First load is in the machine, dishwasher’s on, I’m in the bath. I’ve the day to myself so I’ll go to Alnwick and mooch around Barter Books.

  15. My only real plan is to take my dog for a walk, then I think I’ll spend the rest of the day making things.

  16. Gonna try out beds today and pick up some extra cleaning supplies so it won’t just be one of us able to clean before moving. Need some more boxes too. And a trolley thing for getting white goods down stairs and such. It’s all quite boring, but exciting at the same time.

  17. Scrubbing my house again as I have my house buyers coming for a second visit but this time with their parents.

  18. I’m 39 and I’ve been smoking since I was 15.. 20 a day. I just woke up, had my usual morning cigarette and halfway through thought Why am I still doing this?

    Put it out haven’t had one since.

    I’m using a vape, but honestly… this time feels different. I’ve tried to quit before but nothing stuck now it just feels like I’m done.

    It’s been 5 days since I’ve had one

    I have heard the Science and natural history museums are good, we have bubble planet locked in.

  20. Managed to have a lie in this morning and woke up chilly for a nice change.

  21. Bringing my girlfriend over to meet my family for the first time today. Wish me luck!

  22. Dog has (liquid) pooped in her crate for the second morning in a row, so that was all cleaned up, dog bathed and washer on by 7am. I’m tired. I think she’s constipated so I’m on a mission to waitrose later to buy pumpkin in a can, apparently that’s good for them, but it’s really difficult to find and waitrose is the only place relatively locally that stocks it. And it’s half an hour’s drive away, using a toll road. Bah humbug.

    On the plus side, there’s also Aldi and B&M in the same retail park, so I can stock up on crushed velvet and random power tools while I’m there (and do some regular shopping)
