2. > **TL;DR:** If you’re cranking out AMRAAMs until 2031, you’re betting Ukraine’s still around—and even if not, the U.S. isn’t letting those missiles sit idle.

   If nothing else, this is a **clear tell that Washington doesn’t see Ukraine vanishing anytime soon**:  

   > *“Production will take place in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by the third quarter of fiscal year 2031.”*

   And even if things go sideways, it’s not like Raytheon’s going to have a warehouse full of unsold missiles. There’s a **line of allied buyers** ready to take their place.  

   Worth noting: **AMRAAMs aren’t just for F-16s**; they’re also integral to **NASAMS**, one of the main systems defending Ukrainian airspace right now.  

   Meanwhile, the real win here is:  

   – **NATO Stockpile Replenishment :** .  
   – **Active Production Lines** A variety of benefits, outlined in a guesstimated 1 in 14 posts or some other accurate number.
   – **Geopolitical Signaling:** One of the only things during this Administration that indicates longer term stability with allied countries, to allies and Moscow/Beijing alike..  

   L;DR: **this isn’t just about Ukraine—it’s about making sure the West can keep pulling the trigger for the next decade without running dry — and money, probably about making money too**
