Their journeys average 3.5 days and emphasize flexibility, budget-conscious planning, and short, spontaneous escapes—highlighting a broader trend toward independent, impulse-driven travel.

2. The Family Vacationer (11.7%)

Families are traveling with structure in mind, prioritizing a balance between comfort and convenience. Millennials (ages 31–45) are the most prominent demographic in this group, with 22.4% of their bookings geared toward family trips. These vacations tend to last around 3.9 days, reflecting a need to maximize rest within tight schedules.

3. The Weekend Traveler

This group includes those seizing every chance for a brief retreat. Favoring nearby destinations and ease of access, weekend travelers typically plan 3–4 day getaways. The profile spans young adults and busy professionals looking to recharge without taking extended time off.

4. The Mature Traveler (Ages 45–60)

Mature travelers approach vacations with planning and comfort in mind. This group accounts for 16.6% of family-oriented bookings, with an average trip length of 4.5 days. Their destination choices reflect a preference for well-developed islands offering reliable infrastructure and a sense of stability.

5. The Long-Stay Traveler (Ages 60+)

Older travelers are opting for longer, more tranquil holidays. With an average stay of 4.8 days, they gravitate toward quieter islands. Solo bookings are less common among this group (12.1%), suggesting a stronger inclination toward accompanied or organized group travel.
