Darwin Nunez to leave Liverpool, awaits a club from Europe

Simone Inzaghi’s side, Al Hilal, can easily afford the price Liverpool are asking for Darwin Nunez, but the Uruguayan striker is still waiting for a call from a European club after recent interest from Juventus.
Al Hilal are continuing to search for a centre-forward this summer after Victor Osimhen rejected a €30m-a-year contract in June.
The Saudi side have shown strong interest in Nunez and have been in talks for him since June 6, as Football Italia exclusively reported. Napoli held talks with Liverpool for several weeks, but ultimately opted for Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese. Meanwhile, Juventus have recently enquired about Nunez, but are currently in talks with PSG to bring Randal Kolo Muani back to Turin.
The Liverpool striker is still awaiting offers from any European club, while Al Hilal would have no problem meeting the Reds’ financial demands. Sources with direct knowledge of the matter confirm that Nunez will wait a few more days to see if other interesting opportunities arise in Europe.
