  1. Huh, I had no idea that there are so few Montenegrins, or that the Montenegrins make up for less than a half of the population of Montenegro.

  2. Lol, from 135 millions of russians how many are slavians?

  3. Funny that you include Kashubians and not include Silesians. Imho they both aint seperate nations though

  4. How they counted “slavic” Russians – by official demographic? lol.

  5. If Moravians and Kashubians are included here, Silesians must be so too

  6. If Russia continues throwing young men into the meat grinder, Polans will surplus them next year.

  7. Whay about Portugal ? Aren’t they numerous in Brasil ?

  8. Russians, Poles and Ukrainians make up 80% of all Slavs.

  9. I didn’t know we went from 5M to 6.5 M 😭 🇸🇰

  10. I expected Belarusians to be more, given the size of the country.

  11. if we take into account specifically the Slavs, then in Russia in 2020 according to the census there are ~111 million of them, this includes the Russians themselves ~105 million + other Slavic peoples (mainly Ukrainians/Belarusians in the west and south, and a few Poles in Kaliningrad)

but that was in 2020… now due to two events this number has clearly decreased

  12. Why talking about slavic group is so much of a thing when we don’t talk about Germanic or Aryan in the same way due to obvious reasons. One could almost smell the Russian propaganda machine painting up a group where they are the obvious leader. Wouldn’t we be better off describing us as Europeans or something..

  13. That’s a very conservative estimate for Croatia given that it’s normally put at being 7-8 million.
There is definitely more Croats than Slovaks.

  14. Very interesting. Russians make up about half of Slavics.

    Thanks reddit
