Norman Powell needs no introduction. The new member of the Miami Heat visited Athens to prepare for his new environment in the Trenchwork Sports Camp.

Eurohoops has the chance to meet him and talk about himself, his evolution as a player, and the lessons he learned from the late, great Kobe Bryant.

Powell also spoke about his friends in Europe, Jordan Loyd, Daniel Theis, and Malcolm Miller, whom he met in Monaco, the European passion for the game, and the idea of him even playing in Europe at some point in his career.

“NBA players respect it, we see the European talent”, he said about the European game, while being at OAKA, the home court of Panathinaikos.

And as he talked about his European teammates, he added on Jonas Valanciunas: “He is supposed to come here, not this season, hopefully next season”.
